At Cozy Care, we provide a loving home from home boarding service for up to two dogs at a time. We also have an on site grooming salon for your furry friends. Our specialized services ensure that every dog feels comfortable and pampered - allowing plenty of time for appointments to minimise stress.

About Cozy Care

I started Cozy Care in 2022 after my Springer Spaniel Cookie passed away. Cookie was a rescue dog and came with a need for extra TLC. I didn't have anyone that I could leave Cookie with to go on holiday as most places didn't cater for a special needs dog. As a result I thought that I would provide that environment that any dog - rescue or not - could come and stay and enjoy themselves whilst their hoomans went on holiday, went into hospital, or needed dog free space.

I am licensed by Cheshire West Council

to care for up to two dogs. I am rated a five star facility.

I don't have a dog of my own so if your pet is anxious, not sociable with other dogs or can't generally be left in kennels, then once you're through the onboarding process and get the go ahead, then your fur baby can stay in the knowledge they're getting the best possible care.

Grooming Services

Grooming services are provided in our on site salon. I am a fully qualified groomer and have a Canine First Aid Certificate. I don't have set appointment slots - I allow plenty of time for first grooms so that they are not rushed and can allow your dog to get to know me and vice versa !

I work appointments around the boarding dogs I have in my care so that every dog has attention.

Bathing & Drying

A refreshing bath with a gentle dry to get your pooch feeling on top of the world. All sensitive products. No stand or cage driers. Just a brush, a drier and me !

I can add on claw clipping for a small extra charge. See price list for sizes and charges.

Haircuts & Styling

Whether you have a cockerpoo or a Great Dane, I can provide a de-shed, full groom, mini groom or scissor cut.

I won't necessarily get the perfect groom the first time but I will work with your vision to achieve the best I can for your pet. See price list for sizes and charges.

Prices are starting from indicators and will be changing on

1st August 2026.

All grooms include claw trimming if requested.

A full groom consists of bath, dry, clip/strip/scissor tidy and claws.

If you require a specific cut for your dog then please note that this will need to be individually priced.

Take a look at the gallery showcasing the transformations of furry clients. I pride myself on the happiness of every dog I groom and comfort will always go before vanity..

I will always try to finish a groom. However, I will aim to build up trust with dogs that are a bit tricky in order to do this. I don't like using muzzles and won't force a dog to have a groom.

On boarding process

All pooches will need to come with their owners for a visit to Cozy Care. Visit and see what's on offer and if it's right for you and your pet(s).

After completion of the forms and meeting the criteria for boarding, your pooch will be asked to come for a 2 hour stay on their own. They will also be asked to have a trial night. Any issues will be raised at this point or you move to having boarding bookings accepted subject to availability.

Home Boarding

Please complete a contact form to enquire about boarding for the first time. All Cozy Care policies will be sent to you and must be read in conjunction with the forms.

Charges are £30 per night for a single dog. £50 per night for two dogs.

Criteria for Boarding

All pooches must be fully vaccinated and proof of vaccination will be required. They will also need to have their flea/tick and worming treatments up to date.

A proxy carer (in case of emergencies) will need to be given on a just in case basis.
